Incrediball® Smooth Hydrangea (arborescens)

I bought a quart hydrangea for $39 (which is now $16). The one that was shipped look like it had been grown last winter and the top was cut off. Most of the leaves were dried or brown or had brown edges. It was very dry. I think it will live, but this is a picture of it after I had taken most of the Brown dead leaves off.

one of my all time favorite plants, got shipped in a very tall box for some reason, the plant was in a 1 gallon pot and no more than 8 inches tall. the box was absolutely destroyed. i wish i was able to post photos, the plant was not secured in the box, the box was taped up after being ripped open, amd the plant was pretty unhappy. it however did survive the neglect from fedex and the poor packaging from proven

I ordered 6 incrediball gallon plants, 4 were in one box and 2 in another. The box with 2 was smashed in during the shipping process but the plants were in okay shape. The box with 4, they were tossed around sideways & nearly upside down. Some of the plants had the stems nearly bent at a 90 degree angle to the point where the “bush” part nearly layed flat on the top of the pot. They had dividers between each plant but an excess of space at the top which i think allowed them to easily slip out of place & bounce around during the shipping process. I’m hoping they recover easily & it’s just cosmetic. I’ve ordered many plants online & the big box places seem to put the least amount of effort into shipping care.
