I'm only in my 7th day of sleep on this mattress, and the chemical smell is pretty strong. I tried to air out today. I hope it will fade soon. It's a little soft for me. My husband seems to like it as he's a side sleeper. I'm a back sleeper, and it's not the best.

High quality mattress perfect for tall people and amazing to sleep on

After researching what mattress would be best for us, we decided on this mattress bc we are side & back sleepers. It was pretty soft (I was afraid it was too soft) when we first took it out of the packaging - and was a bit concerned - but after 6ish hours it was firmer. I do believe to reach its full firmness it took about 24 hours. After 3 nights my husband and I are loving the space and the feel of it! (We have slept on a Queen the last 20 years!) If you like a toasty bed i would recommend this one, if not I would recommend looking at the cooling mattresses. I have used a heated mattress pad for the last several years and I do not need one for this bed so far.
