Poor quality control - disappointing quality of product

I purchased a Nest convertible crib. Product arrived damaged, a split/separation in one of the wood pieces (something that should have been caught by quality control). A separate pieces of wood looks like it was damaged and sanded down in production, then they tried covering the damage up with the finish (the piece of wood should have not been used). Some pieces arrived with cosmetic damage (scratches, a mark down the whole side of one of the pieces), other pieces are sanded down in areas (post finish). Either I receive a returned product or it’s very low standards for a crib that costed over $800. I have not been able to speak to person directly, only have been able to speak with a bot and deal with an automated system. Only was able to send a max of 3 images (max upload) their is more damage then that so didn’t even show all the damage. I am so disappointed, I just want replacement parts, I can’t physically send the whole thing back, I’m 8 months pregnant (I feel their should be a partial refund on top of replacement parts) just wish this would be taken care of so I have a place for my baby to sleep when he arrives. I was really apprehensive in ordering this in the first place when they switched the price from $749 for the chestnut color at the time I added it to my cart to $798 when I went to check out the next day. I really want to like this crib, it was exactly what I was looking for, something that I could use from birth and for years to come. but I have been having a really poor experience with this company so far. I really hope they make this better, because as it stands I feel like I got a poorly made item for a very high price, I hope they actually get back to me, they never responded when I tried contacting them before with a question prior to purchase.

Everything about the mattress is great! It’s such a great peace of mind to know my grandchild is safe while sleeping!
