Stadium Blanket kit

I bought the stadium blanket kit. I have used this bulky yarn before and I love how it looks and feels. The stadium blanket came out great! However I used a different size crochet hook and had to make some adjustments. I used a 9mm hook. It isn't as drapey as if I used an 11mm as suggested. The 11mm work seemed to loose for the look and feel I wanted. I also used this yarn for a couple of scarves with the leftovers. They came out beautiful as well. I did run into a couple of knots in the yarn which was a bit frustrating as I had to cut and rejoin which then caused more ends to weave in which I do not like to do at all.

Hometown yarn

I brought this yarn to make a baby blanket. I was really surprised at how soft it was for a super bulky yarn. It works up beautifully & got it on sale for 4 @ $20 nice deal.

Good Yarn but Color Received not Represented in Photo

I love Hometown yarn and use it often, but I got a quick lesson in choosing colors based on a photo. Dye lots differ, and the yarn I received wasn’t gray as it appeared in the website photo. It clashed terribly with the other color I chose for my project.
