Very Disappointed
I purchased the Mandala Ombre because so many users praised how soft it is. I previously bought the color Happy and I love it because it really is soft and the colors are beautiful. But this batch of the color Balance is very scratchy and coarse. I do not have sensitive skin but it literally irritates my skin while I am crocheting with it. I can only do a few rows at a time before I have to put it away. I have never understood how the same yarn in two different colors can be so vastly different in texture. The color is also disappointing because it's almost all blue and green with very little of the pinkish/orchid shades. I chose it because I loved the mix of the blues/greens and the pink/orchid. but it definitely was not as pictured when I received it. The video of it that Lion Brand posted on Youtube and the photo on Lion Brand's website show the cake as having more mixture of the different shades. I hope that in the future their Quality Control Dept. will produce the color Balance to be the same as it appears on the website and in the Lion Brand Youtube video and will correct the texture and make it much softer. This yarn is not cheap in price and I expected better from a trusted brand like Lion Brand Yarn.

thin, cheap looking
I'm not sure if the pattern or the yarn is the culprit, but the first half of this hat/scarf is so cheap looking that I've stopped knitting. Very disappointing.

LOVE THIS YARN !!!
I have used this yarn for many projects and am never disappointed. The color flow is awesome and the yarn is soft and washes well. It is very easy to work with, whether for crochet or knit projects. A very good yarn overall.
