Missing a scent for nostalgia

Was eager to try this product, for all the reasons. But found without a scent, i was unable to trust if my clothes were clean or not. Strange how I associate a smell with cleanliness. I’m continuing to use, but have been adding a drop of my previous detergent to prove to my brain the items have been washed. Believe I read somewhere a new variant would be coming with a scent - looking forwarding to possibly trying that option in the future.

As far as cleaning ability goes (keep in mind, I'm a 50y/o single woman, my clothing & linens rarely get more than body odor funk), this detergent works as expected. What I dislike about it is the unscented equates to a strong chemical odor (what the individual ingredients smell like without fragrance to mask it, I suppose). I don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets so the scent of the detergent matters, even unscented.

I am blown away by how clean and fresh my laundry is with so little product. Easy to use, no white residue, and despite being scent-free, my clothes come out smelling super clean. Fantastic product!
