Wild Matsutake (Pine Mushrooms)

I highly recommend these treasured Matsutake mushrooms from Regalis. They arrived wrapped in papers in a box. They were firm and heavy, only a few of them had the cap slightly open, the others were still in a ‘bud’ form. Very fragrant, I enjoyed cooking and we thoroughly enjoyed the texture and flavor while our cats played in the box.

A spectacular seasonal treat. The fragrance was remarkably intense, delivering everything we hoped for and more. With their firm, meaty texture, these mushrooms truly offer a multi-sensory experience that delights both the nose and the palate.

The best of the season. Nice large ones.
