Kayak Hanger Sling

I had to try and figure out how to attach this to my watercraft. After I figured it out, it was fine. What I’m not understanding is the color code difference. I’m not understanding if one color is more durable than another. Based on how one is green and then I get orange, makes me wonder it I got the right kit. As a person who wants to get what they pay for, it makes me guess as to if I was sent the wrong product. Makes me question the honesty of Tie-Boss.

I am very pleased with the sling and all components. To make it easier, I added two additional pulleys to each side to increase the mechanical advantage. Any more and I’m afraid it will hoist itself. Well done, a great American made product, be proud of it!

This is a simple system for storing kayaks out of the way. I would have given it 5 stars but for one hanger sling was miss fed through the buckle then the velcro tab sewn on, the strap would not lock in place. I modified it by cutting off the velcro tab and was then able to feed the strap correctly through the buckle. The rope and clamps function flawless.
