Summit Boat Mount Kit

It works. This should be included with the pole. All the pole manufacturers piece out every part. Summit could attract more customers if thet included it. I will say Summit Fishing has a great system and is the most cost effective option out there for carbon fiber poles.

Works as it should but honestly the older version of this was best. It had a clamp on the top and bottom. And the clamps were smaller. Not sure why that changed but i ended up using the handle on my stick for the top clamp so it works.

The product was great! My only issue is that the ball round base should have been provided with bolts for the mount. I had to use zip ties for the moment. The 1.5” ball is $18.99, add some bolts and make it $22.99 would have been easier if your trying make $4 from ordering the bolts separately. Oh if you’re trying to rail mount it to a hobie. The 1” doesn’t fit, but you can make it work using longer bolts. I would recommend summit to make a bigger diameter rail mount for hobie users. Besides that its great and durable!
