Jazzy Floors - Pad We have wood floors, and six carpets of various size and pattern. I could not tell you what brand any of them are; all are used to prevent slipping and skidding, their age would be as much as 25 years. They all do their job. Whether use of pads makes any difference to modern manufactured carpeting is a matter for experts (which I am not). My only comment is that using non-stick pads may reduce the chance of accidents and injury. Rgds, Tom Carlson
