The dates are fresh and soft to chew, INCREDIBLE. I bought a box of dates from another supplier last year twice, actually. The first box was soft and delicious. The second box was had as nails, could not easily chew them. Maybe it was to do with the time of the season, I guess. Yours are absolutely DELICIOUS !!! God's Candy !!! Thank you, Rafael
