Lightweight & prevents a wet backpack

It’s lightweight and prevents my backpack from soaking through. Just keep in mind that it doesn’t cover the part that covers your back, so extended use in the rain or on a bike/scooter may still result in that section getting wet. This could be problematic if you’re carrying your laptop/tablet in the pocket closest to the back. I hope Nomatic can design a version that fits around the straps and better prevents the back from getting wet. But otherwise, I’m happy with how this protects my bag in most of my use cases, such as walking between the train station and office. I would buy it again.
