Sundancer Hat

I like it very much. My only disappointment is that as lovely as this current design with the fanciful back is, it's a bit too much material. I think i enjoyed the lighter, calmer back better.

This is my third Sunday Afternoons hat. I bought this one after wearing and loving my Ultra Adventure hat because I wanted a hat that was more lightweight (the UA hat gets pretty hot in the sun) and had a ponytail hole. This one fit the bill, though I did try and return two other SA hats that I didn't like before getting this one. Pros: comfortable, lightweight, ponytail hole, like the purple color, nice big brim and neck flap. Cons: knocking off a star for two reasons. One, the back strap under the ponytail hole sometimes unthreads from the buckle, which then requires taking off the hat and rethreading. And two - the bigger issue, one I see others have - it gets blown off in anything stronger than a light breeze, no matter how much I tighten the straps. Luckily it doesn't actually blow off my head because the chinstrap catches it, but it's pretty annoying. I have had neither of these issues with the UA hat that I have. A third issue is that it doesn't fold and stow easily; I love the brim on the Ultra Adventure hat that actually folds in half for easy storage. I think the foldable brim might also make it more flexible such that it doesn't blow off in a stiff breeze. Anyway, it's a good hat, just has a few design flaws that should be attended to.

Apologies for the delay in responding. I was waiting for the hat to arrive with folks who were bringing it back to my home country from the United States. The hat looks great. And I understand that delivery was quick and smooth.
