I'm editing my review because of how much I love this lens! I'm a student in welding school and for 6months I have been struggling to see the puddle. The second I struck an arc with this lens in my hood, it was like seeing for the first time. I almost feel like I was welding blind folded before. absolutely stunning clarity. Even my instructor with 10+ years experience was blown away by my improvement. I let him borrow my hood and he was amazed as well.

Pretty good for about 2 days. Recently, every time I go to strike an arc, I get this film of fuzz where the shade doesn’t fully go dark, or something. I don’t really know how to explain it. I’ve never had this happen with any auto-darkening welding lens I’ve used before. After 10–15 seconds of welding, it might clear up, but then it does it again, so it’s pretty much no good to use.
I’m not saying all of them are like this, but I’ve only had mine for about a week now, and the product doesn’t work properly.
