I couldn't be happier with my Fiddlerman Performance bow! Before purchasing, I had a lengthy conversation with Christian at Fiddlershop about several different bows. What impressed me most was his honesty and knowledge. He took the time to explain the differences between the options, discussed their strengths and limitations, and gave me genuinely helpful advice rather than simply trying to sell me the most expensive bow. That kind of customer service is rare, and I really appreciated it. When the bow arrived, I was delighted with its feel, balance, and control. But the real surprise came when I played it on my primary French violin. The difference was remarkable. My violin began producing a smoother, sweeter, more refined sound, while the strings became clearer and more responsive. Most astonishingly, the E string, which I had previously struggled to make sound good despite trying several different strings, suddenly became absolutely beautiful. With this bow, it produces the deeply expressive tone I had been chasing (I'm using the Warchal Amber set). This experience taught me firsthand how much the right bow can matter. It's not simply about getting a louder or brighter sound; it's about finding a bow that works naturally with your particular violin and allows its voice to come through. Excellent experience. My experience began with a helpful phone conversation with a Fiddlerman rep. When i ordered, the bow arrived quickly and in good condition. Previously I tried out a range of Coda bow with no real discernable difference to my wood bow, certainly not one worth $700. My first impression on the bow was that it was ugly. I called it my ugly stick. But 10 minuets of playing made it my favorite bow. I needed a stiffer bow to help me improve control, and thats what i got. I'd say its like driving a sports car vs my previous good quality wood bow. Really is worth a try

I am pleased with this bow. It is the nicest bow I have owned at this point in my playing. I know there are more expensive bows, however this bow works perfect for me!
