Downpour Elite Jacket

Great jacket, solid material, runs large (if not layering), sleeve long

Nice jacket that seems tough and wear resistant as well as, of course, waterproof. I found the sleeves too long: I want my hands well clear of a breathable jacket so the cuffs aren’t contaminated with oil, grease etc. Rolling these cuffs up gets them out of the way, but then they can’t be adjusted. I’d also like a complete stealth option with grey logos, as opposed to orange on the black version. The adjustments do what they are supposed to! Which is great. The fabric does have a noise reducing “fluff” to its outer surface (not a fleece or something, just a soft feel compared to other synthetic outers that go zip ziiip zip as you walk: this is nice and quiet). I initially ended up with a size too large, but I’m in a hot climate and will rarely need a thick warm layer underneath this.

Had it out last weekend and it was disappointing rainwater beaded in places and seamed to soak in at other places on the jacket and the rain was not that heavy not sure how it will stand up in a heavy downfall
