Cubby Bench (44 inch)

Underwhelmed

It's a sturdy bench, solid construction. But for some reason, I feel underwhelmed by the bench. We are using it in our mudroom, and it feels rather small in scale. It doesn't stand out at all. Which I get it is just a bench with a simple design, but it does seem like a high price for what it is. Also -- this is an oversight on my part, but I intended to order the standard style without boot holes and ended up ordering the one with boot holes instead. I realized the description read as the boot hole version, but the image that displays is for the standard version. It's my miss -- would have been good to double check it.

Fantastic bench with minor complaints

We don’t wear shoes in our house so it’s really nice to find a sturdy, weatherproof cubby bench. This bench is well designed and keeps our shoes organized on our front porch. The bench is precisely manufactured (no misaligned holes or miss cut pieces). The box the bench came in had a few dents and small holes but the bench pieces were unharmed. The box is heavy. My only complaint is the high price and the little bits of plastic that were not removed after the holes were drilled by the manufacturer. If I hadn’t spent the time to remove the plastic remnants, the bench would not look nice and neat with little bits of plastic sticking out under the screws. I used an Exacto knife to carefully remove the plastic remnants around the holes and cuts. Regardless, I’m really happy with this purchase and may purchase another one for the back door!

High quality craftsmanship

We love our new cubby bench! It feels so solid, like it will last a lifetime. Our kids climb onto and jump off it, and we don't have to worry about it tipping over. It's really heavy and the pieces all fit together perfectly (making assembly a breeze). A lot of thought went into the design. It looks really nice and helps keep our front porch more organized.
