Great looking razor that gives a close yet comfortable shave

I have this same razor with the same base plates in Stainless Steel and Titanium as well. The copper razor is the standout in terms of looks - it is highly polished and looks just great. It is similar in function to the stainless steel one in terms of heft and feel. The mild plate is still very efficient - it gives a very smooth and close shave without any nicks or cuts or razorburn. I am able to complete an entire shave with just a pass and a half - the half pass being along the chin and neck and around my lips. I know that in time a patina will develop on the copper - will wait and see how it ends up looking once that happens and whether to remove the patina and polish it up on a periodic basis or live with it. So far with three shaves, the razor is showing no signs of patina and it looks as shiny as it did when I first received it. I am very happy with this purchase - if you are looking to add a copper razor to your collection, this is the one to get.
