I first tasted Barhi dates on a work trip to Palm Springs. I was amazed by the complex flavors and tenderness. There is no way that these delicate fruits could survive in the bulk bin at the natural grocery, but being able to order sustainably packaged Barhi dates that are organic is great. Just be sure to order early around the holidays if you want to use these as gifts like I did.
