Fun addition to the collection!

A nice little pickup with the kind of scrappy, offbeat appeal I tend to gravitate toward. The slip is especially solid, but the whole release feels thoughtfully put together and like exactly the sort of obscurity worth having in the collection.

Grimy cult fun

Through The Fire is exactly the sort of regional horror oddity that Vinegar Syndrome does so well. It has a strange Satanic-cult setup, rough-around-the-edges energy, and enough low budget ambition to keep it memorable. The restoration and slipcover make it feel like a much bigger release than a film this obscure would normally get, and the extras add welcome context. A fun pickup if you enjoy grimy 80s horror with a bit of homemade apocalypse flavor.
