Great class!!!

I'm a butterfingered beginner who only took a knitting class because my teen said they would knit with me, but I was scared I'd find it confusing and/or boring. Cheryl managed to teach in a way that showed us the big picture appeal of knitting while clearly and concretely showing us how to cast on and knit (and for those who got the hang of it more quickly than I, cast off!). I wish I lived in San Diego so I could take more Apricot classes with Cheryl, whose enthusiasm was infectious. She was so kind and encouraging that I never felt self-conscious about how slow I was or how wonky my beginning stitches were, and when I continued at home, I saw myself quickly improve!
