Perfect. I installed to gate for a prayer place parking. This is public place outdoor spot under every weather condition. I did not used any covering or shade for this lock. Almost 100 people used it daily and I did receive a single complaint. Very easy and soft especially the lock code change function is very secure and easy. Price wise it is half in the price compare to other same grade locks
