We have a challenging application. My workshop is located several hundred feet from our home, with 368 feet of underground conduit distance. Adding a convenient cable length inside both buildings, my installed cable length came to 423 feet. My goal was to connect our 2017-vintage NetGear Orbi base router (RBK50) to a 2017 Orbi Satellite router (RBS50) located in my shop. That's roughly 100 feet beyond the full-speed (10 Gb rated) 328 foot maximum length for Cat 6A. We don’t need 10 Gb speed as the fiber internet maximum speed coming into our home is 0.620 Gb. I was hoping your cable could work. Installing a powered switch halfway down the line was my backup plan. Yesterday, I terminated the cable using TrueCable Cat6A Field Term Plugs - Shielded on one end and Unshielded on the downstream end. My termination work tested good, and then came the ultimate test; WiFi speed within my shop. Great results! Download speed 0.540 Gb, with 65 ms Ping, and 0 packet loss.
