The Progress Featherlight Lightweight Competition Gi is an outstanding piece of kit. From the moment you put it on, you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into making a gi that is genuinely designed for training and competition. It’s exceptionally lightweight without feeling flimsy, which is exactly what you want from a competition gi. The fit is comfortable and athletic, giving you plenty of freedom of movement without having loads of excess material getting in the way. It feels particularly good during long training sessions and hard rounds when a heavier gi can start to feel cumbersome. The black finish looks fantastic and gives it a sharp, professional appearance. The construction also feels solid and durable, so despite its lightweight design, it doesn't give the impression that it has sacrificed quality to save weight. What I particularly like is how minimal and functional it feels. There’s nothing unnecessary about it — just a well-designed gi that does exactly what you need it to do. Whether you're drilling, sparring or stepping onto the competition mat, it feels like equipment that you can rely on. For anyone looking for a lightweight, comfortable and competition-ready BJJ gi, this is very easy to recommend. It has quickly become one of my favourite gis. Fantastic fit, great feel, excellent weight and a really sharp look. Five stars from me.
