There is an overwhelming amount of information concerning the health effects of microplastics in our environment. You see it everywhere from food stored in plastic bags, containers and food service trays at the local grocery store. I made the switch because my blender bottle was showing signs of wear by the wire ball moving around in the cup. Bold made sense because it is easy to clean and you can carry it anywhere. The screw on cup on the bottom of my bottle allows me to keep a supply of protein powder for one meal. I purchased accessories for my bottle to allow it to be carried around. Best thing is it doesn't stink and particles of protein powdere doesn't get trapped in the cap.
