This is by far one of the easiest starters to get going. This is my second. This one I purchased myself and the first I was gifted. It lived and thrived for almost 2 straight years or longer but I was sick for a week and it was HOT where I live and mold ended up growing. So I tossed my beloved starter. Needed to start over again and I love everything Ballerina Farms. Hannah and this brand is geniune and always improving products!

It rehydrated one day longer than the instructions and allowed me to bake with it and we are now eating the bread from it and it’s just a delicious sourdough taste!

This starter was so easy to rehydrate and got to make a loaf of bread after a week of the instructions!
