New hub2
This hub 2 is a replacement for a hub 1 that we had at our vacation home. It controls lamps, porch lights and most importantly is connected to a water sensor and also to a temperature monitor through an I/O linc. It has saved us thousands in my estimation. Twice over the last 10 years we have received alert about low temperatures in the home- the furnace was repaired in a timely manner before the pipes froze in sub zero weather. I also have Insteon in my home, I use it with outlets switches, motion sensors , water leak sensors but also use an I/o linc with a water level sensor in my sump pump pit. This has let me know when I needed a new sump pump as the water level in the pit began to rise when the pump failed and I got an alert. Love Insteon, so glad the company was resurrected!

Probably awesome, best for homes with a dedicated network room.
I only had mine plugged in for 30 minutes, it has a very noticeable ring /whine to it. Having full network access for my lighting control would be ideal, and if there was a closet for it to live in, would probably use and love it.
