Micro On/Off Switch Module

Remote switch for nighttime flag illumination

I needed a way to control my newly installed flag light without needing to install a physical rocker switch. The power source is near the ceiling in the garage. I COULD have installed a box and switch but it was complicated by the construction of the house. The on/off module allowed me to have the switch at the main junction box. I programmed my Alexa to control the module and also installed a micro remote in the event I need to control it manually.

Good product - but not quite Micro

Micro switch works really well. Communication speed with outlet is really good. Programming without the hub was not too hard. My only complaint is the size of the relay. I could not fit the relay in a 3 gang box behind the switch that the relay was coupled with. I had 4 pieces of 14/2 in a 3 gang box, and the relay just would not fit. The relay was bigger than I was expecting. But other than that, product is great!

Nice Switch with One Exception

Sensing wires are too small of a gauge. I wish they were about 16 awg. I realize they do not carry any real current, but it would make them easier to work with and attach to a standard light switch.
