Straps too small. Cooler too big.

Two issues. Only one is Engel’s fault. The straps on this LARGE cooler aren’t designed for larger framer people (Male/6’0/230lbs). The padded section is too short, which makes the sternum strap useless. The weight of the cooler pulls the straps apart, putting pressure on shoulders that can’t be redistributed with sternum strap. Also, this cooler is huge. I think too big for a backpack. Combined with the ill fitting shoulder straps, and I’m returning it.

Great and light with thoughtful compartments!

My Engel cooler took its first beach trip and enjoyed it greatly. All kidding aside, best cooler purchase I have made in a long time. Ease of hauling large amounts of drinks and some food to the beach daily was a breeze.
