Excellent strop double-sided and great quality

Excellent results using the Cutting Edge Knives' large leather strop

I inherited half a dozen Japanese made steel knives that my late father and I regularly hand-sharpened with stones. We hadn't bothered stropping, though we tried honing. The honing didn't really work for us. Recently, having made an attempt to stone my knives, I began noticing a fine but noticeable burr no matter how careful I was. Watched some videos and decided to try stropping. The large strop purchased from Cutting Edge Knives has made a difference for sure, and I would recommend to anyone contemplating trying one to give it a go. I am not easily impressed; but this product has worked well for me.
