A buttery sweet variety that is a staple in every garden. The leaves are soft and crisp, making them the perfect base for any salad. The plants are great for square foot gardening because of their ability to be planted closely together. Can be started earlier in the season because of a very high tolerance for cold weather.

Good germ rate
Planted in container in late June, got a few leaves before heatwave hit. Will plant more in cooler weather but tasted good from the small harvest I got

Easy growers
Gave them a little bit of space, and they grew well. Didn’t bolt until we had heat indexes in the 100s for a few days twice. I’ll be growing these again.
