Tonerider generator❤️

I really like this pickup, which I bought to replace my Seymour Duncan Distortion. I’m pleasantly surprised – the sound is very powerful and well-balanced, and in my opinion, better than the Seymour. I’d also like to give a special mention to the high-quality materials used in the pickup and the premium packaging. And all this for less than 100 euros. Would I buy it again? Yes. But perhaps one with a more classic sound, maybe an Alnico II.

Versatile pickup that packs a punch

I've paired the Generator HB with Apex Plus SCs and it makes a superb set. The Generator has a really tight and punchy bottom end for high gain thrash metal, 'Justice For All' tones easily handled. I've used the coil split on a push-pull pot, and with gain rolled back and midst rolled up you get beautiful Americana tones, like 'Blackbery Smoke' or 'Rolling Stones'. Clean tones are also great. A versatile pickup.
