New pump worked perfectly but was missing grounding attachment

The pump worked perfectly. There was an issue that the old pump had a grounding lug on the back of the pump and the new one did not. This issue required me to swap the old motor's rear cover onto the new pump and solder on the grounding connection. It seems that Spa Depot could have warned me in advance and recommended a slightly different part with the grounding hardware already attached. Good parts but less that ideal customer support, Spa Depot should be spa experts, but they were not!

SpaDepot is the best. I love shopping for parts at SpaDepot. Having your spa break down in cold temps is a pain and very stressful. SpaDepot was on it and had my new re-circulation pump shipped the next day and delivered in 3 days. Price was also well below other websites and about 1/3 what the dealer in my area wanted.

Easy replacementmNo real need to drain the hot

Easy replacement. No real need to drain the hot tub. Just have wine cork available and remove and plug the hoses. Then install the new unit. Works well. Maybe loose 1/2 gallon We will see how long it last. My original ladted 26 years on my Hotsprings hot tub.
