Great quality, received it in time for the holidays. Very satisfied with it, its so much fun. Cant wait to get the expansion!!!!

Bought after stand alone expansion Quarter Past

We enjoyed the smaller Queens by Midnight Quarter Past enough to buy this base game for more characters and cards. Players must be okay with "take that" style games as that is truly the premise of the game: take out rivals for the throne. But even after being taken out, you still play on behalf of the alliance you made, and if you backed the right person ,you win with them. Or even make another player think you backed them so they back you, but secretly back another player that you that you think will win. If you take the throne, the player who helped you win never needs to know you betrayed them. You should watch the Critical Role playthrough to help clarify some cards and rules. An addendum to the general rulebook to address the issues raised in the video really would have been useful.

If you're looking for a gorgeous game that will arrive quickly, here's your taker. I was missing a tiny bag of parts in my first one, and customer service got back to me right away to solve the issue. Have yet to play it, but I'm excited to hopefully crush my friends and family!
