Still my favorite sneakers

I'm hooked on Winner for life: Excellent quality, stylish, and supportive in the ankles as well as the arches. This is my third pair overall, now that the black and steel pairs I got more than 5 years ago (and wear constantly) are beat up and being retired to yard shoes because they're still ridiculously comfortable. This color is a gorgeous chestnut and very work-appropriate. These are true to size, and if you're deciding between two, I would go a half-size down. I wear between an 8 and 8. 5, and my old pairs are size 8. I ultimately decided to keep these in 8. 5 because my feet are a bit wide and they have more room overall from the get-go, but they definitely feel longer in the toe than the size 8 I just got in Steel, so I have to be mindful so that I don't catch the toe when I walk. Both pair fit the same way in the arches, which is why I kept both. The Steels are snug but not uncomfortably so, and I'm looking forward to both pairs molding to my feet like my old ones have.

The fit is perfect. The leather was a little stiff at first, but it seems to be loosening up nicely. One word of caution: if you have sensitive ankles like I do, these do rub a bit. I’m hopeful that will also ease up after the shoes are more broken in.
