My Botanical Press

Wonderful for encouraging flower collecting

My son, whom I gave this press when he was almost four, loves it and it motivates him to stop to pick flowers we pass outside! I see that he pays much more attention to them since they have a purpose other than looking pretty in their native environment. We have had magical, serene sessions of collecting many flowers together for his press, especially beautiful ones with short seasons, like magnolias. His grandmother helped him glue pressed flowers and plants into a nicely bound blank notebook, for a lovely effect. I assist him lightly with handling the different pieces.

Lovely
