Gear Stick Extension

I have owned the Toyota Landcruiser V8 Troop Carrier for 10 Years and covered 200,00klms with a lot of towing, with the gear lever extension it is more relaxing to change gears. To make the extn screw up neat I had to do some fettling on the thread entry to get the pleasing results.

How ever i wish to provide some helpful feedback for your consideration and that is that the gearstick extension when fitted as per your instruction has loose thread it vibrates loose with the normal movement when operating the vehical. Hope ths may be of some help. with kind thanks.

Works great. I tow in 4th gear a lot and the gear knob usually digs into my leg. This extension lifts the knob up high enough so it doesn’t cause me discomfort.
