Chord Electronics 2go

This is a store replacement for a faulty unit purchased last week. Return/replacement service was prompt and fast. The replacement 2Go connected immediately to its control Gofigure app and has performed without any negative issues. It performs its connection and streaming functions more efficiently than the 2 similar Poly units. Happy with the device .

This review will serve as an addendum to my initial entry. The 2Go came in excellent condition and was packaged well. After unpacking the device, I noticed some issues: 1, the usb charging cable was missing. 2, there was some gluelike residue on the bluetooth/wifi window. 3, the bottoms of the soft feet of the device were scuffed. 4, the small baggie that holds the mounting kit looked old and scratched. In summary, the unit looks like it has been used. I paid full price for a demo is what I think. All would have been forgiven, BUT: I have had the unit for a couple of days and 1, it will not connect to the companion Gofigure app that is essential for set up. 2, it only stays powered on for 30-35 seconds, then switches off. Research indicated that they could be balky to get functioning, but I have 2 other Chord products (Poly), that do the same functions that work fine. Not happy right now. Right now, the unit is an expensive paperweight.
