Best Jump Rope
I have been skipping rope for boxing and MMA a little over 20 years now. I have used all kinds of ropes as well. Crossrope has made by far the best jump rope system. It is so easy to use as well as change ropes. I like the concept of changing rope weights for added dificulty. I even use their ropeless jump rope in my living room to get some movement in the morning. When I am in a training phase where I skip rope a lot, 1 rope will last me at least 2 years. If I skip rope twice a week it will usually last past 5 years. If you are starting out it may seem like a lot of money, but there aren't any other companies out there that can match their quality. Learning to jump rope can be frustrating at first and if you aren't willing to commit to it then buy a cheap rope on Amazon. However, if you are willing to put in the work and time then skip the cheap ropes and get the best. Skipping rope is my favorite cardio and once you learn the dance it gets quite addicting. Good luck and God bless.

Made me a better rope jumper (jump roper?) instantly.
The first time I used the “get lean” set, I set a new personal best for consecutive basic jumps. (Still a novice; still learning and improving.) The first use gave me confidence that I had made the right choice.

I'd started with a non-weighted rope from Walmart. It got tangled and half of jumping was focusing on swinging the rope just right so it wouldn't tangle again and hit me in the shins. I used the height chart in crossrope's shop to get the right length, listened to yellowdude's advice, and it was the best jumprope experience I've ever had. Especially with the mat. No tangles, and I haven't hit my shins once. It's a great workout, too. I used the get lean rope set and their mat. I'll be sticking with them, and highly recommend.
