EFEL Viola Shoulder Rest Plus

I think this lightweight beauty is going to work well for me, and I'm very happy I tried it! Love how light and supportive it is, and how well it can be adjusted, unlike many others that are so limited. Thanks for your video on it Ron; it's all you say it is. Just hope I didn't wear it out by adjusting it so much! Kind of wish I bought another as a spare just in case! So far, so good.

I really wanted this to work, but I had a lot of trouble bending the grips that go on the sides of the viola to adjust the height. I have sloping shoulders, so I need to fill in that space. Perhaps there is someone there on staff who can give me some tips on how to do this without hurting my hand. I like that it is so light in weight, but if I can’t adjust it to my body then there is no point in keeping it. I have tried so many shoulder rests in the past and they always gave me pain. Most frustrating. Hope to hear from you about this. Thanks Michele Clemmer

The shoulder rest just arrived today (I live in Canada). I still prefer my Bon Musica, but I will keep trying the EFEL.
