Brazil nuts come from the South American Bertholletia excelsa, or Brazil nut, tree. They are a good source of healthful fats, protein, fiber, and selenium (which is an essential mineral, which is low in NZ soil and therefore low in the NZ diet). You could add them to your cereal, salads as well as baking.
