Chain Waxing System

Don't know why it took me so long to switch over! Used a Wax Chip with a new chain and then rode 450km's without issue. Barely any dirt on the chain when I took it off to rewax! The only slight issue I had was trying to follow the instructions to rewax the chain and waiting long enough to let the wax remelt. I ended up submerging my chain before the wax had fully melted so I now use a dowel to stir the pot before placing the chain.

Worked well but hard to tell when consumed.

After looking at this product for a while, I decided to buy the waxing system. I cleaned my chain with the Silca cleaner and then applied the wax. The chain was a solid mass after cooling and by moving it around I got it loose enough to apply to the bike. I rode with it and upon returning from a dry road ride, there was dust on the chain. I used a micro fiber cloth to remove the dust and there as lots of it that I thought was not going to bind. So far used it on some 4 rides of some 40km each and not super thrilled with it. Not sure what to look for to indicate wear yet. Will try the process again to see if things improve next year.

Just used it for the first time. Seemed to work well. If I was being picky, I'd note that the instructions in the manual with the system vs. the packaging of the speed and endurance waxes all have different temperature range/spec instructions for use. They should be identical.
