Large Mug | Sheep

I ordered one of your sheep mug recently. I got excited because I didn't think I could ever find that mug again. Mind you, this particular mug as been in my family for more than 20 years, but, as I discovered, when my parents ordered it, it arrived broken, my dad had to mend it, and after that, it was never used to drinking beverages. So I thought to myself, what a thoughtful gift to acquire a new mug than my dad could finally drink out of! In my family, we all loved the particular thiness of the rim of the original mugs we possessed (the sheep one, unused, the strawberry mug and the blueberry mug), but what a disappointment to discover that after all these years, your rim has become so thick! I figured it might be to avoid the kind of accident that happened to my parents when shipping your mugs but... I'm sure you know the importance of a thin rim when drinking tea. I'll still be happy to be able to present this gift to my father but I'm not sure that I'll buy more mugs from you... (This time, the packaging for transport was top class, no complain at all)

I purchased replacements for 2 mugs that I had damaged. This is my favorite pattern and I’m so glad they were still available. I have every piece in the Sheep pattern and am hoping there will be additional pieces made 🐑🐏🐑🐏

I got it for my partner so that she would have one to match the one I have, which I got almost 20 years ago in a shop in Madison, CT, USA, that used to sell Nicholas Mosse products. I also enjoy the use if 6 of the smaller barnyard cups, as well as a sugar bowl and creamer, plus a Nicholas Mosse clock with the same animals.
