Best blanket ever.

I'm having an awful time with midlife hot flushes that disturb my sleep nightly and I haven't been able to find a sheet, blanket, or combo that I'm not waking up to throw off/pull on all night. I finally caved to the ads and tried one of these light gauze blankets and it is my favorite thing ever! It doesn't hold or give back body heat, either as a base or top layer, yet it is warm enough so you don't get chilled. It's perfect. I haven't used it through the cold season yet, so we'll see how it does then, but I'm not planning to shelve it for winter. Perhaps it becomes my sheet layer under another blanket. This has been one of my best purchases this year.

I think I just have to get used to having a cotton blanket. I washed it and line dried it. It’s a little stiff. It’s lightweight and breatheable though which is why I got it. I’m a hot sleeper & I now live upstairs in an apartment with no air condition sadly. I got it mainly for when I’m laying on the couch. The twin xl was a perfect size for that. Even though it’s lightweight, it doesnt feel flimsy. We’ll see how it is after another wash.
