FlexTILT

I expect much better, studier. With an iPhone placed into the edelkrone clip the sissor like unit wants to fall forward. It does not have enough weight to remain sound or set in place as expected. I would not have both it and it was a reasonable amount i.e. not cheap as it was not cheap I expected a more sound device for my money. Sadly not worth the wait for it to arrive from Europe and of little use to me and my photo work in making books (taking images of small badges and patches). And before someone from cooperate comments oh maybe I dont know how to set it up properly FYI I have 30 years in the film and television industry thus I know how to set up such a device. Thus again not worth the purchase for me and my work. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and in this case I did not get what I paid for.

It allows me to get overhead shots with my 35 mm lens when attached to my tri pod. Takes a bit to get used to it as you need to find the right configuration using the provided tool for loosening and tightening each hinge, but that’s like anything with photography. Practice, then it becomes second nature.

I had been wanting a device like the FlexTILT Prime for a long time, but the products I'd found all had some big limitations: too short, difficult to adjust, bulky, not strong enough, only works on a tripod, and so on. Then I saw a promotional video for the FlexTILT products and the Prime version looked just like what I wanted. Before I ordered one, I did an extensive search for comparable alternatives, but found nothing close, so I pulled the trigger, and I'm so glad I did. The build quality is top notch, and I just used it for a project where I needed to shoot straight down from a side mounted tripod into a light box and I couldn't have done this without the FlexTILT. I think they should have called it the "Star Trek" because it will let your camera go where it's never gone before.
