SmartBridge

I ordered the SmartBridge to automate the use of the new SmartBlind product in my Media Room, so that the Google Home Commands could be used to control the blinds as part of a custom sequence. While the setup was not quite intuitive, the install was still pretty simple, and we now have the blinds auto closing when you simply say Hey Google, "lets watch TV" along with the rest of the automation sequence.

I love this device. I was going to purchase new blinds but this was much easier and faster to install. I also get all the same smart home features I was looking for.

Setup is unreliable. I had to go through it 4 times. The device had repeated trouble connecting. The charging device is not USB-C. It’s old school and the connection and setup is clunky. The device works as advertised but is notably loud and obtrusive looking. I also didn’t appreciate the constant barrage of daily emails pushing to buy more. I bought one to see how we liked it and I will likely remove it and certainly won’t be getting more. Needs a good deal of refinement, but it works.
