Deep Pocket Mattress Protector

The quality is frankly not very good for the price point. There were other cheaper options and I was looking for quality over a bargain. It was not what I expected. The fabric is thin and flimsy and the elastic is not great either. I am not sure how great it is going to be in protecting my mattress. It replaced a ~10 year old mattress protector I had picked up at Marshall's for cheap. The old one is clearly superior in workmanship and materials. I would certainly trust my older protector over this new one. As for the fit, it is ok. It is not snug and needs to be adjusted every morning when I make the bed. It has deeper pockets than my 14" mattress and I knew that before I purchased. But, most of the reviews I read said it would fit my mattress. This one is on me, but beware if you don't have a deep mattress. I got this primarily because I thought, based on reviews, it would be more cooling than my old protector. So far, I can't tell the difference between my old and new. I gave this a 3-Star because it is "okay" if it were about half the price I paid for it.
