Chicago Hardy Fig Tree

Nice plant but minor rust

I bought this as a gift for my mom so I was a little concerned to see the plant arrive with some rusty looking brown spots on the leaves, but we planted the tree and it seems to be doing well

Plants were shaped very well and were bigger than another company with same pot size, but they took 11 days to arrive to Idaho and lost 80% of their leaves. It does look like they'll survive... I'd highly recommend a box insert to keep it from getting crushed in shipping

Hardy like a Chicagoan

I bought three for loved ones who had close family members that died, in their memory. They initially looked the worse for wear when the shipment arrived but daily watering and good sun exposure brought them back to life. I hope they eventually offer figs and comfort to these special people in my life.
