Too Big

I love this vest, but my only issue is that either the sizing runs big or the sizing chart itself is a bit off. I followed the chart based on my measurements which said I needed an XL for my 35 inch waist. It’s only going on week 2 and I’m already on the 3rd row of hooks with plenty of room left over. Something told me I should’ve gotten a L.
