Dreame 1L Multi-Surface Cleaning Solution (Robot Vacuums)

Great robot vacuum and mop!

He does a great job and appreciate that he’s not too loud! We named him Gus and will be putting a vinyl mustache and eyes on him! 😂

Not Sure it’s Ready for Prime Time

My husband might have given it a 4 star, but for the price. For the money it should be much easier to figure out and more adaptable. I’m still super confused how the reviews all seem to say that the app is user friendly when it is in fact, anything but user friendly. We are still struggling to figure it out a little over a month in. It does a decent job of vacuuming and mopping but mapping out our house has been a nightmare. It somehow managed to tangle itself in a lamp cord and drag a lamp across our piano, damaging the finish and the lamp. I routinely find it without a mop pad or stalled somewhere, not seeming to know where it should go. Today I found it dead in the LR. I don’t know how far along it was, and getting it to begin again is a mystery. When it does work, we are pleased with clean floors and carpets. Our air conditioning floor vents seem to be an insurmountable event to this machine. Which really calls into question the claims that it can handle differences in floor heights. I have to sweep under the kitchen cabinets because it is too tall to go under there. I had measured base cabinets prior to ordering and thought it would clear with room, but that is apparently not the case. The machine measures 3.5” high and our base cabinets are 3.75” from the floor. I am now getting messages from the robot stating that I can delete rug areas from rooms so it doesn’t clean those. Vacuuming those rugs was half the reason to buy it. This is where we are. I’m. Hopeful that this will get better and we will be happier with our big purchase. On the positive side the two tanks for clean and dirty water are easy to empty, as is cleaning the machine regularly by watching a Youtube video.
